Whether traveling on vacation, celebrating a graduation, attending a wedding or maybe experiencing that first kiss, millions of people have made memories aboard the Cape May – Lewes Ferry (CMLF)! Want to be a part of our history? Looking to honor or memorialize that someone special in your life? With the Cape May – Lewes Ferry’s commemorative brick program, you now have a unique way to become a part of our history or pay tribute to that someone special, while putting your own stamp on the 50th Anniversary of the Ferry.
The brick pavers will be part of a patterned design with the CMLF 50th Anniversary logo in the center, and will be installed in front of a CMLF terminal building (Cape May, NJ or Lewes, DE) - a prime location for our many visitors to acknowledge your lasting tribute. The brick display will be unveiled in Cape May on June 28 and in Lewes on June 29 to coincide closely with the day that the ferry service commenced – July 1, 1964.
These brick pavers are of the highest quality and laser engraved to last a lifetime. Individual bricks are 4” x 8” and corporate bricks are also available utilizing and array of two or four individual bricks for larger displays. Replica 4” x 8” bricks and mini 1” x 3” bricks can also be ordered. The text of the replica and mini bricks will be identical to the 4” x 8” brick order. However, the words “Cape May-Lewes Ferry 50th Anniversary” will be engraved on the back. Note that the replicas and mini bricks orders must be picked up at the terminal. Please do not include email addresses, phone numbers, web addresses, advertising, or inappropriate language. The CMLF reserves the right to reject any proposed engraved message prior to production at its sole discretion. Legacy brick orders for the second phase are now being accepted through August 8, 2014. We expect the installation of second phase to take place in September or October 2014.
