The Pacific War Memorial
The Pacific War Memorial Association is pleased
to announce that the Pacific War Memorial in Hawaii
is now at the entrance to Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
It is a copy of the National Iwo Jima Memorial in Newington,
CT. This memorial depicts a moment in time - the flag
raising atop Mt. Suribachi on February 23, 1945 during
the Battle Of Iwo Jima, immortalized by Joe Rosenthal's
famous photograph.
Brick Markers USA was proud to provide the engraved
bricks for the circular walkway around the monument.
Brick donors and future generations will enjoy their
engraved bricks for many years to come. Four benches
will be situated next to the monument, allowing visitors
a place to rest and gaze upon the figures and look out
across the Kaneohe Bay to the Koolau Mountain Range.

This is a rendering of the Pacific
War Memorial.
