Operation Remount Corporation is a nonprofit designed to help military veterans or first responders work through anxiety, depression and/or PTSD while helping the American Mustang find a quality forever home. We developed a unique model to utilize fresh mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management. The participant not only builds a special and unique bond with their mustang, they have the opportunity to keep their mustang to continue a life-long bond if they choose. This is a 6-week program located on the grounds of the Mirrored K Legacy Ranch in beautiful Jay Em, Wyoming and is FREE to the participant. Currently training is conducted outside and with the Wyoming climate we are limited to providing this program during a short time of the year.
We are currently raising funds to complete a new building to allow for indoor training, a classroom, bathrooms and a kitchen so that we can serve more veterans and first responders year round!
You may purchase a brick to honor a loved one who has served in the military, police force, fire department or in healthcare. The bricks will be laid in our "PATHWAY OF HONOR" which is available for visitors to reflect on the sacrifies these men and women have made or continue to make. Every brick purchased will bring us closer to our goal!
