Veterans Square Park Project

The Lower Makefield Township Veterans Committee is dedicated to creating a timeless monument to honor veterans of the past, present and future within a community park setting. Veterans Square Park is located on the corner of Edgewood and Heacock Roads in Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania. Located adjacent to a grand oak tree in the park, our American flag is surrounded by black and white walls symbolizing war and peace, and the transformation from darkness to light, sadness to joy. Atop the black wall rises a life-size bronze eagle representing the emergence of the human spirit from despair to hope for future generations. Local veterans who gave their lives in service to our country will be memorialized on a bronze plaque within the protective walls of the monument. You can honor a local veteran at no charge by engraving his/her name on the top of the circular wall which envelopes and protects its citizens or you can purchase a paver for any veteran dear to you or be a community participant by purchasing a paver engraved with your name, the name of a family member or your business name. The pavers represent the citizens of the community forming the foundation of the monument. There will also be a bronze plaque honoring the WWII veterans of the Edgewood neighborhood and a patriotic, inspirational quote will be inscribed on the interior of the white civic wall.

IIIinois Fire Service Institute Memorial Plaza Project

Brick Markers® is pleased to announce that we will be working with the Illinois Fire Service Institute. The IFSI is creating a Memorial Plaza as a feature of the new Learning Resource and Research Center. IFSI invites individuals, businesses and organizations to become a permanent part of the building by sponsoring engraved bricks in the plaza in support of Illinois Firefighters. With your engraved inscription, you may choose to memorialize a fallen firefighter, honor a friend or family member, or identify yourself or your organization as a supporter of IFSI. Your contribution is an investment that will help IFSI continue improving the safety and security of emergency responders and the citizens they serve.

Hinsdale Humane Society Memorial Garden Project

Brick Markers® is pleased to announce that we will be working with the Hinsdale Humane Society. The humane society invites you to be a part of a very special limited commemorative opportunity by purchasing a personalized engraved brick. The bricks will be installed in the Memorial Garden which is an exterior improvement to the shelter that consists of newly planted shrubs, plants, benches and a custom brick patio. When complete, the area will serve as a resting place for the pets and volunteers to unwind after a long walk, exercise or play time outside of the kennels. Now is your chance to support Hinsdale Humane Society with a donation that will last a lifetime. Brick purchases will benefit homeless animals for years to come and will symbolize your commitment and love for animals. It is now time to carry on that legacy of excellence in Catholic education for the children today. The "Cornerstone Capital Campaign" is a vision to build a new middle school building and Early Childhood Center, to renovate existing school buildings, and to consolidate the school campus. In efforts to raise funds for this invaluable renovation, Our Lady Queen of Heaven invites you to be a part of their special brick program. Your personalized brick paver is available as a 4x8 or 8x8, and will be installed as a permanent part of their grounds. Our Lady Queen of Heaven will be accepting orders starting September of 2014.
